Congratulations to four 6th graders who earned a spot at the State Tournament for MN First Lego League (FLL). The Chanhassen robotics team members include Curtis Lindahl, Alex Bowe, Lukas McNeill, and Max Spaulding, and the team name is C.A.L.M. – an acronym for the boys’ names.
According to Coach, and parent Mike Lindahl, the boys built and programmed their robot with Legos and presented a research project on key issues surrounding the Prince property development. The C.A.L.M. team had a strong showing at their Sectional event in January, finishing second in the head-to-head competition and came home with the Programming Award for their division.
The season runs from September through February with the State Tournament competition on Feb 22. For more information about FLL in Minnesota, go to hightechkids.org.
